Do I have to pay immediately?

No, you can modify your pledge (upgrade, downgrade, or cancel) anytime before the campaign ends. You will not be charged until the campaign ends and only if we reach our goal. Shipping will be collected after the campaign ends in our survey, where you will also be able to add more products to your pledge

I can't use Kickstarter, is there any other way to support this campaign?

Yes! Just head over to our shop www.smalartshop.com. All tiers are available there as well. Just keep in mind, that you will have to choose your designs and pay right away. If we don’t meet our goals for certain designs, we will of course refund you. Your order will be shipped while fulfilling all other pledges.

How can I change my pledge?

  • Go to your product page and select „manage your pledge“
  • Click on „change your pledge“
  • Select the reward tier you would like to change to or continue with your current tier to “Add On” Page
  • Add any additional items you would like and click „continue“

How can I select the designs I want?

A survey will be sent at the end of the campaign so you can fill out your selection.

What if the design I want is not yet unlocked?

Please pledge for every design you want even if they are not yet unlocked. This is the only way we can reach our goal. Pledges are risk-free and you can modify your pledge at any time before the campaign ends.

Can I add any items after the campaign ends?

Yes! This time, we will give you the option to add lots of our products when answering your survey. You will be able to choose products from our previous campaigns, as well as enamel pins from our shop and more! Also, your final shipping costs will be calculated and paid after this campaign.

You will get your email for the survey after we receive our funds from Kickstarter and set everything up. This might take a few weeks, so be sure to check your inbox!

Also, please fill out the survey as soon as you can so there won’t be any delays.

What happens if I forget to complete my survey?

Please complete your survey within 2 weeks after receiving it. If the surveys are not completed, we won’t be able to know what rewards you want and where to ship them. We can’t accept late surveys after we have finished shipping all rewards. All pledges without a complete survey will be considered a donation to the campaign.

How long does shipping take?

After quality checking and packing all orders, domestic orders (Germany) should take about 2-7 days to arrive. International orders should take around 2-8 weeks, depending on where you live. Unfortunately, shipping times are out of our control.

I need to change my address! How can I do that?

Don’t worry! Your shipping address won’t be locked until rewards start shipping your pledges. You will get another reminder that we’ve started packing your rewards and that you need to confirm your address. Before that, you can change your address at any time.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
